Excellent resilience to load fluctuations
Continuous wastewater feed provides a well-functioning contactor. As a result, the activated sludge is well conditioned and has excellent settling properties.
The system is resilient, reliably handles load fluctuations and produces outstanding effluent quality (total suspended solids: 3–8 mg/l).

Lower capital investment
The system is cost-effective for several reasons: compact design, smaller tanks and minimal pipework required. It also eliminates the need for separate secondary clarifiers and reduces the cost of mechanical equipment.

Low operational and maintenance cost
The system is cost-effective to operate and maintain for several reasons: minimal operator intervention (due to automatic control and operation), low energy demand (through mixer-free design and the SPAC system), fewer mechanical and process components, and excellent stable sludge quality (low sludge volume index: 60–90 ml/g).
