Concept

From idea to feasible design

We explore the possibilities of a given site, define the most appropriate technological direction, and develop the core concept that forms the starting point of the project.

What we do

We think like engineers

The foundation of long-term reliable operation is a sound design concept. Developing one is only possible after a thorough assessment of the site's conditions and the identification of environmental requirements and risks. We conduct additional measurements to ensure data accuracy.

Based on the analysis, we develop the core concept: we define the optimal technology, capacity parameters and possible forms of implementation. This document forms the solid foundation for permitting and execution plans, and for sound decision-making.

Our approach

Our design principles in practice

Our approach is technology-agnostic: we do not commit to a single solution, but in every case select the most appropriate direction based on the specific site and requirements. Alongside our own ContiSeq™ system, we are familiar with numerous domestic and international technologies — this broad perspective is what ensures our cost-effective solutions.

Over 25 years we have carried out concept work on more than 100 different sites, across municipal and industrial projects alike. This experience means we identify conditions faster, see risks earlier, and produce more well-founded core concepts — making the entire project more predictable and efficient.

The average lifespan of a wastewater treatment plant is 30–50 years. It follows that the decisions made during the concept phase define the optimal operability of the resulting facility for decades to come. We keep this in mind at all times.
