About Us
Over 25 years in the water industry
We believe that holistic wastewater management is the foundation of quality of life for every community. Since 2001, we have been designing, building and maintaining wastewater treatment plants with this conviction.
Our history
Company history
2001
Founding
Zsolt Eszes and five other specialists deeply committed to environmental protection founded Inwatech Környezetvédelmi Ltd.
2002
First project handed over
As main contractor, designer and builder, we delivered our first wastewater treatment unit — a 5,000 m³/day capacity plant for a cardboard manufacturing facility.
2003
First complete anaerobic wastewater treatment plant
We handed over our first complete anaerobic wastewater treatment plant, built as main contractor for a food industry client in Hungary.
2006
First complete municipal wastewater treatment plant
We handed over our first complete municipal wastewater treatment plant in Hungary — discharging treated effluent into a particularly sensitive receiving water body.
2012
First wastewater treatment plant exceeding 100,000 PE
We designed and handed over the regional wastewater treatment plant for Érd and its surroundings, using cyclic SBR technology with a sludge line.
2014
Launch of ContiSeq™ and InwaFerm technologies
We patented our cyclic biological treatment technology under the name ContiSeq™, and developed the InwaFerm anaerobic sludge digestion solution for the biogas line.
2014
Going international
We established our Romanian subsidiary, laying the foundations for our international presence and expansion.
2015
First three ContiSeq™ plants completed
We handed over our first wastewater treatment plants built with ContiSeq™ technology, with treatment capacities ranging from 800 to 25,000 m³/day.
2016
Largest ContiSeq™ project completed
We handed over our 175,000 PE capacity South Balaton regional wastewater treatment plant in Siófok, capable of a peak biological treatment capacity of 34,100 m³/day.
2017
First international project
We participated in the design and construction of a 220,000 PE capacity wastewater treatment plant in Poland.
2018
ContiSeq™ technology arrives in Qatar
We supplied and commissioned our complete ContiSeq™ technology at a 140,000 PE capacity plant in Doha.
2021
Water4All Plc. is established
The newly founded Water4All Plc. joined Inwatech Ltd. as a co-owner, taking over several activities — including the biogas and water treatment segments.
2022
First treated wastewater ultrafiltration project
We implemented a 6,000 m³/day ultrafiltration capacity at the Komárom municipal wastewater treatment plant.
2024
First comprehensive infrastructure development project
We comprehensively upgraded the municipal and industrial wastewater treatment in Nyíregyháza, including grey water production to serve growing industrial demand.
