Our role
As general contractor, we carried out the permit and detailed design and the construction, mechanical and electrical works within the site, supplied and installed the equipment and ran the trial operation of the expanded plant.

The client
The client was the Municipality of Komárom. The plant is operated by ÉDV Zrt..

What we did
The expansion comprised two new biological lines, a sludge line and a 400 m3/h tertiary membrane post-treatment stage. We delivered all works within the site (as a “small general contractor”), from design to trial operation. We also carry out servicing and maintenance at the plant.
Outcome
The expanded plant operates at 8,000 m3/day, with a suspended solids removal efficiency above 98.7%.
